3 WAYS YOUR INTROVERSION WILL HELP YOU GROW YOUR BUSINESS

There are so many options when it comes to starting your own online business. But which type is right for you? Let’s figure it out!

Hello beautiful soul,

Today I want to remind you that YOUR INTROVERSION IS AN ASSET FOR YOUR BUSINESS!

It’s so easy to get caught up in the challenges of being an introvert business owner, but focusing on those things just keeps you stuck because you’re expecting struggle. This mindset is super common for introverts because most of us grew up seeing our louder, bolder, more extroverted friends and colleagues succeeding and being praised.

Then, as soon as you start your business, these insecurities bubble to the surface because you realise that getting visible and selling are a huge part of running your business and you feel like these things don’t play to your strengths.

I’m a big believer that we are all conscious creators and we attract more of what we focus on. When I started my business I was so caught up in my insecurities that I was constantly comparing myself to everyone else and focusing on the things I’m not, instead of focusing on all the things I AM.

So, today I thought I would highlight 3 ways your introversion will help you grow your business so you can focus on your strengths and start attracting your soulmate clients / customers with confidence.

Of course there are a ton more, but let’s start with three.

1. Your awesome listening skills

Introverts are usually really good listeners because we spend so much time thinking and observing. Often introverts are also quite intuitive and tend towards being empaths. These qualities are a huge asset for your business because your success relies upon you understanding the needs and desires of your soulmate clients so you can create the products and services they need. This also allows you to create a deep connection with your audience and because they feel seen and heard by you they will be lining up to buy your beautiful offers.

Your awesome listening skills are also a huge asset when you’re actually working with your paying clients and customers. As you listen to them attentively your clients feel safe so they’re more likely to share the root causes of any challenges they’re facing in their businesses. This allows you to support them more accurately which leads to better results.

When you start actively focusing on your beautiful listening skills as a strength, you will find it so much easier to get visible and sell in your business. This is because you can feel confident that your offers are exactly what your soulmate clients need. Hold on to this any time you feel self-doubt creeping in, or any time you start to second guess yourself before sharing your powerful work with your audience.

2. You think before you act

Often in business we’re encouraged to take risks and abandon our comfort zones. This can feel really intimidating for us introverts because we like to feel secure and we like to think things through before we act. Rather than wishing we were braver, what if we started thanking ourselves for being so sensible and methodical with our work?

Is taking risks bad? No.

Is fast growth good? Absolutely.

But, similarly, taking the time to consider all possibilities and options before expending precious time, energy and money is just smart business!

So let’s focus on that.

Be grateful for your thoughtful approach to your work and start to see the sales roll in because you’re trusting your decisions.

Be grateful that you’re only taking action that you know you can sustain long term rather than making an impulsive change and ending up overwhelmed and exhausted.

3. Big dreams and inspired ideas

One of the best things about being an introvert (in my opinion anyway) is the endless supply of dreams and ideas. Never a dull moment in the mind of an introvert.

You might feel like your big ideas are a distraction. You might find yourself jumping into your next big idea before you’ve even finished working on the previous idea. Trust me, I’ve done this SO many times! But, you will never get bored of your work and that is something to be thankful for.

Plus, there are so many ways to manage your big dreams and inspired ideas without allowing them to distract you and lead you off track.

Friend, your introversion is such a beautiful asset that will help you grow your business if you start focusing on your strengths instead of your struggles.
